My Fathers' 1st open heart surgery 1983

My father’s first open heart surgery took place in 1983. These drawings are expressions of my observations as I watched my father progress from pre-operative, to surgery, to post-operative and onto recovery. Rendering these drawings helped me cope with my father’s condition. My father was a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy and worked with a Veteran’s Hospital and a Hospital for disabled children in Miami. He loved these renderings. I can’t thank my dad enough for all he did for me.

With Love
